Supplements I Swear By

Supplements can be such a confusing topic as there is so much misconstrued and conflicting information. Supplementation is a foundational element in healing and creating radiant health, fostering profound transformations in the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual foundations of Embodied Wellness. Everyone has a unique body blueprint and has different nutritional profile, toxic load, and pathogenic presence.Supplements support the physical body and physiology thus elevating and transforming your energy. They have the ability to enhance mental health Supplements act as catalysts, nourishing the body with essential nutrients necessary for its innate healing processes and optimal functionality.

In today’s modern era, the nutritional landscape has dramatically shifted, marked by a decline in the quality and richness of our food compared to the past. Soil depletion has led to widespread deficiencies in vital trace minerals, vitamins, and other essential nutrients crucial for supporting our bodies' intricate physiological mechanisms. Moreover, certain key vitamins, minerals, and nutrients remain beyond the body's natural ability to produce, thus supplementation of these nutrients is indispensable.

Supplements make up a roughly $130-billion industry and aren’t regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Consequently, mislabeling, compromised quality and integrity, and potential side effects can occur. I highly recommend that you seek out the highest quality products and find a supplement brand whose integrity has not been compromised. I also seek supplements that are USDA Organic and Alcohol Free. The alcohol in tincture supplements can actually compromise the quality and benefit of the supplement.

There is an array of supplements exists to bolster liver function, fortify the adrenals, nurture the nervous system, strengthen the immune system, and optimize digestive health. The specific supplement protocol that is best suited for each individual hinges upon their unique symptoms, toxic load, and nutritional profile. Vimergy is a company with amazing pure high-quality supplements that I love and use! And most of their supplements are USDA organic and the tinctures are all alcohol free.

Nevertheless, there are Five Essential Supplements that help you create radiant health and a beautiful quality of life, irrespective of the specific symptoms, conditions, or illnesses you may experience.

Given proper supplementation and support your body will heal.

These are 5 of the Foundational Supplements that are part of my daily rituals + routines:

1. Ashwagandha– an adaptogenic Ayurvedic herb; meaning it helps the body’s response to stress thus minimizing the damaging impact of stress.

Ashwagandha:

Supports the adrenals

Supports liver health

Supports thyroid health

Supports energy levels

Supports a healthy metabolism

2. Vitamin B12– Cobalamin, B12, is an essential B vitamin that is produced by bacteria that reside in the soil as well as the guts of animals, including humans. While the bacteria responsible for B12 production reside in our colon, we aren’t able to absorb it as B12 absorption happens earlier in the small intestine.

Another important factor in the production of B12 in the soil is the presence of cobalt. However, due to soil degradation the soils are becoming nutrient deficient, which means cobalt’s presence is declining. This also means that the animals are becoming deficient of B12, meaning humans, as tertiary consumers of these animals, aren’t getting the substantial levels of B12 necessary for optimal health. The truth is that we all need more B12 in our diet.

Vitamin B12:

Promotes healthy nerve function

Supports the formation of red blood cells

Plays a role in DNA synthesis

3. Vitamin C– Vitamin C is an essential vitamin, meaning our bodies don’t produce it on their own. It’s a potent antioxidant that counteracts the oxidative stress that results from stress and factors.

Vitamin C:

Strengthens the immune system

Supports the adrenal glands

Supports skin health

Supports the cardiovascular system

4. Magnesium Glycinate–Magnesium is a critical mineral for muscle contraction, energy production, metabolism, bone health, and nerve transmission. In this form it is bound to the amino acid Glycine which helps make it more absorbable and bioavailable.

Magnesium Glycinate:

Supports the nervous system

Supports healthy muscles

Supports the adrenals

5. Zinc is an essential nutrient that our bodies don’t make on their own. So we need to get it through the foods we eat and in supplemental form.

Signs of Zinc deficiency: Weakened immunity, Thinning hair, Dry skin, Ridged nails, Brittle nails

Zinc:

Supports immune function

Regulates gene expression

Plays a role in DNA and protein synthesis

Supports skin, hair, and nail health

Decreases inflammation
